Working for Perfact means, developing yourself both professionally (hard skills) and personally (soft skills). Understanding and knowledge in various disciplines are essential. Not only to serve our clients, but we also think it is important to invest in your knowledge. This will help you develop further and take another step forward in your career.

To make that step, we also think it is important that you are supported in the goals you have in mind. Together, we draw up a plan for this. You may also need to develop your soft skills, for example to boost your leadership skills. For this, we use our ‘in-house’ coaches, who will guide you and work with you on your personal development.

All in a personal and informal atmosphere. That is paramount. We believe that alongside work, there should be room for social events. Therefore, the motto, which we have given our own twist, ‘Work hard, rock hard’, characterises our organisation well. Every Friday afternoon, in the monumental building in Munstergeleen, where our headquarters are located, the bar is wide open to everyone. At the Antwerp office, there is a dartboard and drinks are also organised there on a regular basis. In Germany, we regularly visit the café together. We also organise a family barbecue and a legendary Christmas party every year. Plenty of opportunities to celebrate success together!

"Work hard, rock hard!"

Bob's development

  • Started as junior planner in Antwerp for a Turnaround. Gained a lot of knowledge and experience during this first period.
  • From Antwerp to Leverkusen for a project at a well-known pharmaceutical multinational to progress to Scope Coordinator and Junior Consultant Process Optimisation.
  • Projects in Belgium and Germany gave Bob cultural enrichment and experience of working in a different environment.
  • Sessions by our in-house coaches and training in communication helped Bob further in his personal development.
  • Then started work at the Chemelot site in the Netherlands as Senior Work Planner for a complex project.
  • Training courses in project management, planning and Lean Six Sigma have given Bob more subject knowledge.
  • The current goal is to eventually progress through small and medium-sized projects to the position of Lead Planner for a major Turnaround in 2025.

“The opportunity to grow is partly in your own hands but within Perfact you are given that space. But you also have to be able to deal with setbacks from time to time, plans sometimes turn out differently than you imagined. Ultimately, you have to look at the bigger picture to work it out together. For me, there is still plenty of room for development so I am curious to see what the future holds for me!”
